It's off of their first album, August And Everything After. I took a liking to it back when it came out due to the single, "Mr. Jones." Pretty good album overall. Wouldn't consider it metal though.

Well I don't have my collection with me right now, but from what I remember I enjoy the following:
Album1:
Round Here
Mr. Jones.
Perfect Blue Buildings
A Murder of One
(possibly others)
Album 2:
A Long December
(maybe more, not as familiar with it, not as listened to)

I hate them for making one of the worst cover songs in musical history:
their version of Joni Mitchell's big yellow taxi is a musical crime and cancels out any of the good songs they made in the past.

I'll agree they have a few good songs soft rock band but when I think of that band Mr. Jones comes to mind everytime...
Hell I may like metal to a great extreme but I like many softer songs as well just dont listen to them as often really like Hottie & The Blowfish I liked a few of there tunes as well has a good melody I guess that I can dig... Theres many many other songs I like I'd have to sit here and think for hours upon hours but soft rock has a place in my listening experience as well most of the time I listen to this on the radio though not on the PC with the exception of a few bands Kid Rock being one of my favorites to produce both good soft and hardrock content and do quite well in both areas hell even most of your metal bands have soft rock songs floating on there CD some of them suck but some are good it all depends.

Moved to Rock. A happy medium.
This solves cj's dilemma and xenex's name calling.
Welcome to Zeropaid btw.
