What do U think about the current movie ratings system?

Like Spider-Man, Mean Girls, Walking Tall, LOTR: The Return of The King, The Alamo, Hellboy, Romeo & Juliet, Supernova, Grimlins 2, etc. are rated PG-13.

PG-13 movies are stirring some opinions on some parents. Like it includes some sexual content, the Violence.
Should the industry add another rating to the system. Would you like your 13-15 year olds seeing this sort of kind movie. Should parents worry about how secure is the movie ratings. How is the rating sytem appropiate for the todays movies compared to the movies of the past.

The Motion Picture Association of America uses the following ratings:

I worked as an assistant manager in a movie theater for far too long and had to deal with many parents not agreeing with movie ratings. Yes, I think it is an issue with some people. For some, the ratings seem to be an excuse to not really look into what the movie is about.

I heard that steven spielberg movie Saving Private ryan was suppose to be a NC-17. Yet since hes a big producer/director.. They cut it to a R rated movie instead.. So its who you know or blow. Its all stupid anyways. Have you seen CAT IN THE HAT?? I WOULD NEVER TAKE MY KIDS TO SEE THAT movie! sorry for yelling, but if your kids can spell or put words together.. THey will find disturbing meanings, especially out of a kids book turned movie.
