First, check to see if there's anything suspicious in the Add or Remove Programs List that you don't want.

Second, grab a copy of both Spybot Search & Destroy (http://www.safer-networking.org/) & Ad-aware (http://www.lavasoft.de/default.shtml.en). Install both & make sure you get them updated before you start scanning your computer.

Lastly, make backups of whatever you remove.

Hope that helps! Good luck!

Btw, welcome to Zeropaid!

Thanks for your answer,
I already have Ad-aware but it can't find anything relative to Morpheus.
I'll give a look to Spybot Search & Destroy.
Thanks, Giņ

the my search bar never comes up on adaware scans. Wonder why. I still remove it whenever I see it.

There is also a program called Hijackthis that is very helpful if you are a little more experienced user, it basically gives you all the unusual information it can find on your computer and lets you decide what to do about it.

Answer: Just don't use Morpheus. It gave my computer some pop-ups and nasty spyware.

I used Pest Patrol and it listed about 200 potential spyware or adware issues. At first I deleted them all, but morpheus stopped working. Then I deleted all the ones that did not say Morpheus. Still works. I still have Casino pop ups sometimes, but I will get them, too.

This information is out of date. If you just go to Add/Remove Programs, you can uninstall all the bundled software Morpheus installs.

how is it out of date? the truth of the matter is you are still going to need ad aware and spybot to remove the evil spyware that morpheus installs on your computer. Dont forget that morpheus also had a trojan in there p2p program in the past. I dont know about now, because i wont install the crap on my puter.

but beware
just alternative clean programs
limewire *new version spyware free*
shareaza
gnucleus
phex

i dont think you can remove all the spyware.. It may not make the program run, or need a dummy .dll file like imesh had to have.

I tried morpheus once and it was crap. I hate software bundled with spyware. First this is first. Ad-aware is shite, and spybot s&d is no better. Believe me i have used these for quite some time and they really suck. What you really need is BPS Spyware Remover [ http://www.bulletproofsoft.com/spy-download.html ] + Spy Sweeper [ http://www.webroot.com ]. Run both. I know they are not free but they are two of the best spyware remover software on the market!
