"File sharing is not just cool technology. It's about the experience ... exploring new music, video, and other media ... trying new files your friends recommend ... sharing it with your friends and others on the network. P2P software should enhance and not restrict this experience.
Only TrustyFiles gives you the power and flexibility to share and download files on your terms - when, where, and how you want it.
Search multiple networks. You never know where you're going to find that file. Why limit yourself?
Download from multiple sources on the public P2P networks ... or transfer one specific file from a friend.
Share files with all the public networks ... or just your friends.
You can do it all with TrustyFiles with Personal, Private, and Public File Sharing.
If you're a new user, TrustyFiles is designed to be easy to use. You don't need to worry about complicated settings or options.
If you're a P2P veteran, you'll be impressed by TrustyFiles' innovative features and performance."

Isn't it ironic that a program called 'trustyfiles' connects to the Fasttrack network?

man, this program looks so promising but it has been checked out and looked into by UTC and Slyck. Both have found them in violation of the GnucDNA and something else GPL liscense..can we really trust them?

I really like the program
It has a few issues here and there:
When you search for something that is VERY common, and likely to generate TOO many results, the program will crash. Just have to remember to search for something specific.
The ad bars. But this is easily beaten by blocking a few IP's it connects to at startup on the HTTP port.
Torrent support is great. I downloaded a couple TV programs. They went VERY fast. I have to note, though. While there is support for torrent, the program provides 0 ability to configure and play with the settings. Whether this is a good thing or bad thing I dont know...I do know this: the program is already set up to share those torrents as you download them, so your download speed is not affected.
The program, like all other Kazaa programs, receives all the dummy/fake files from the network. First two music files I downloaded were fake.
Because trustyfiles gives an approximate download speed as opposed to that STUPID thing Kazaa/Kazaa Lite give you (some connectivity number or something...tells you how good a connection is...it means NOTHING to me), its a little easy to spot the fake files, since TrustyFiles reports them as having an approximate download speed of 200 KBps in most cases.

It looks good. Dont trust it to much though. But it does look good. I am trying it now, they just need to add support for edonkey/emule. So far so good though.

Thanks so much for the nice reviews on TrustyFiles and suggestions. We will be adding eDonkey in the near future.
I did want to respond to the GPL issues. Our tech team is heavily involved in P2P open source efforts so we take GPL issues seriously. We did not properly handle and acknowledge GnucDNA and giFT use in TrustyFiles 2.1. I take full responsibility for that honest omission, which was due to miscommunication between our developers and me. When we developed TrustyFiles 2.2 we rewrote much of the network code for better performance and stability. That also allowed us to use 100% native code that is all ours and does not come from anywhere else.

but it still would be a derivation from the gpl'd source, wouldn't it?

That's a lie, btw. They are still in violation of the GPL and fully aware of it. They are probably just trusting that nobody's going to enforce it.

Guys, sorry it's no lie. We do not use any open source/GPL code in TrustyFiles 2.2. It was rewritten as I've said. Ashton claims there is open source code in that release. I've asked him to prove it. But he's never done that. Because he can't.

This is all a lie, refer to this: http://peerlounge.com/index.php?showtopic=158
