wow. Perhaps the whole ad-Aware in the postion above didn't go down to well. Seems unlikely. There is nothing obvious on the kazaa site.

Whoa daddy! Could this be because they are falling behind ad-aware which is screwing up kazaa? They will surely fall behind now and Klite will be even more popular. Kazaa just made one huge mistake! Thier number of users used to go up about a million every six months but its fell to about 2.5 to 3 million and stayed there for some time now. Meaning new users are still coming, but most long time P2P users are moving on to better programs.

Nah, if they really wanted to get back to #1 they would just release Kazaa 2.6.3 to download.com, Im not sure why they have done this though...
All this is going to do is boost the likes of Morpheus, LimeWire, iMesh and the other popular ones...
