Based on GnucDNA, Kiwi Alpha uses the same peer 2 peer technology now used by Morpheus, one of the leading file sharing programs today.
Kiwi Alpha supports the well known Gnutella and the newer G2 networks.
With Kiwi Alpha you can easily download any media type such as audio, video, images, documents and software.
We didn't include player or chat functionality because these features usually tend to use a lot of system resources on your computer. We concentrated on searching and downloading while also providing an easy to use play list.

i don't know...it says you can download from Grokster? i thought Grokster runs on FastTrack network...unless Grokster connects to Gnutella and FastTrack at the same time, witch will explain why they say that.

Grokster only connects to FastTrack - their is probably an explanation in the fact that whoever made KiwiAlpha needs application names to add but doesn't want to add the Kazaa hysteria factor.

Looks interesting.
Has anyone tried it yet?
I always liked aqualime and gnutella is actually quite fast with a good app. gnucleus was never very fast for me but as I mentioned aqualime was way fast. Haven't bothered it with for quite awhile thought lol

never connected for me, no way to change download directory, tutorial on the site needs work, looks to much like kazaa, hope software includes .zip, .rar, .bin, .q, .iso, .img, etc in software
Edit: it does, and actualy connected for me, now they need to add a way to use a random port, and a way to change your download directery from the default! wich is located in c:\program files\kiwielpha\downloads
or however you spell it lol.

Kiwi Alpha is stable and fast.
I've seen many comments stating the exact opposite, even in the Slyck forums.
Also, they're telling lies to attract attention. They made a claim of “anonymous downloads”, and are also using the “application name" factor. They could have just been straight forward, and told us what networks are implemented (along with client names, for further clarification). They do this to attract the uneducated P2P user. Why? Because they are easily mislead.
They smell.
