I´m first time user of both, WinMx and this forum.
Will somebody tell me where to get the basics for understanding this WinMx ? What does the colors mean, why when I restart computer all files that were qued to download dissapeared or how can I avoid this from happening?
Really need Help. Thanks.

Just take a fw minutes to look it over and try a few things on WinMX. I'm amazed by the amount of users that don't know how to use this program correctly. Sometimes you have to enter the remote "Q" in order to show up on someones board.

I'll post some basic advice:
If you're behind a firewall or have a slow connection, or less than 128 megs of RAM use the secondary connection, if not, use the primary connection, you'll get better search results. If at anytime your computer gets slow or you can't download fast enough for your tastes switch to secondary.
And If your'e using secondary, and you were in queue 4, or something, and then you get bumped back to 23, its because the primary user you were connected to disconnected, and you were assigned a new user, thus giving you new numbers at the end of you username, which in effect gives you a new username, which the uploader at the other end doesn't recognize.
