Webcam Troubles

I had to download the driver for this cam...and now when I go to run it it tells me: the cams not hooked up???? I have done everything that this stupid tech support page has told me to do. Any ideas?

BTW it's an old IBM pc camera

I had trouble with my scanner being recognized, and as a last resort, I unplugged the power cord and plugged it back in. That worked. Worth a try.

I not sure what you did but it sould be like this.

1. Install software.
2. turn off computer.
3. plug cam in.
4. turn on computer.

but it could be as easy as:
1. install software.
2. plugin cam.

I am assuming USB for the second one only.
If this doesn't work, try it on a second computer and that tell you if the unit is working.
