Few questions

I got the newest Spybot version and my question is how come for 3 weeks there havent been any updates?

My other question is I recently bought the download manager software and spybot keeps detecting it as spyware. Is there a way to make it stop decting this key

any help would be appreciated. Also I am loooking for other good programs that does what it says and removes spyware, adware, trojans, keyloggers etc. I already use spybot and adware. JW again if there are any other programs that also work

just a thought: if spybot is detecting it as spyware...maybe it really is spyware.
I also only use spybot and ad-aware, i think you're pretty much covered with those two.

Key? Did he say Key? wtf does he know about keys?

He's referring to the Spybot Resident Protection that actively monitors any changes attempted in the registry. (the tray thingy) Any time a program wants to modify a key val, Spybot asks you if you want to allow this, and\or remember your decision.

So the question is flawed from the beggining, it ISNT saying that it is spyware, just because it is asking "do you want this to change"

The answer is YES, if you want your blinkin software to work, let it change the registry and just be mindful of WHAT is doing it, and if youre really in doubt, then just say no.

Unbezwingbar - yah I agree, youre pretty much already covered here, stop burying yourself in softwares.

Krell is right, as usual. Stuff has to change for things to work, but sometimes the changes aren't good! Use good judgement!
