I'm still a Novice after all these years and so my questions are simplistic. Just read on After Dawn that there is a new FFSDSHOW that is so superior to anything prior that it should be installed. How do I do that and deal with my previously installed version? The suggestion was even offered that it should replace DivX.

Uninstall your previous version and then install the new one. This is so there wont be any conflicts.
