Can't download or upload on Winmx (sharaza and mirc too)

I am unable to download or upload on winmx. I just noticed this problem this week. Every thing keeps timing out. I have windows xp and cable internet and I dont have the xp firewall enabled. At first I thought it was zonealarm but the same thing problem happened with sygate. Both programs gave winmx internet and server rights. I tried with the firewall off but no luck. I also tried changing the ports but nothing changed. Also on mirc sometimes you have to open a port ( usually port 59 ) in order to connect to someone's fserver. I used to be able to this before but know I can't and I am unable to connect to someone who request that I open a certain port. Finaly, on sharaza I can't download from any one that is on gnutella. I'm starting to think that they are all related. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this problem?
