well who da hell are you to tell someone they should be embarassed on what they listen to, or what someone else knows?

everyone listens to whatever they want, so u surely out of line with this statement.

Crackerjacker don't fucking lecture me. If you knew this band (obviously you don't) you would appreciate the comment. It isn't a question of liking them or not, they have a certain status and notoriety in UK for anyone * a n y o n e * over 30. Nobody would expect to admit to owning their records or liking them without being laughed at and laughed with. So as you plainly have zero knowledge in this matter kindly keep your dumb ignorance to yourself and quit telling me how to post.

Showaddywaddy Lyrics
Who Put The Bomp (In The Bomp-A-Bomp-A-Bomp)
(Mann/Goffin) - Showaddywaddy 1982
I'd like to find the guy who wrote the song,
That made my baby fall in love with me.

Who put the bomp in the bomp-a-bomp-a-bomp?
Who put the ram in the ram-a-lam-a-ding-dong?
Who put the bop in the bop sh-bop sh-bop?
Who put the dip in the dip da dip da dip?
Who was that man? I'd like to shake his hand,
He made my baby fall in love with me.

When my baby heard,
Bomp, ba-ba-bomp ba bomp ba bomp bomp,
Every word went right into her heart,
And when she heard them singing,
Ram-a-lam-a-lam-a-lam-a-lam-a ding dong,
She said we'd never have to part.

Well,
Who put the bomp in the bomp-a-bomp-a-bomp?
Who put the ram in the ram-a-lam-a-ding-dong?
Who put the bop in the bop sh-bop sh-bop?
Who put the dip in the dip da dip da dip?
Who was that man? I'd like to shake his hand,
He made my baby fall in love with me.

Each time that we're alone,
Boogity boogity boogity boogity boogity boogity shoo,
Set my babies heart all a-glow,
And every time we dance,
Dip da dip da dip dip da dip da dip,
She always says she loves me so.

Well.

(spoken)
Yeah! Bomp-a-bomp-a-bomp-a-bomp-a-bomp my heart aches,
Ram-a-lam-a-ding dong for ever,
When I say dip da dip da dip da dip,
You know what I mean,
From the bottom of my boogity boogity shoes.

Who was that man,
I'd like to shake his hand,
He made my baby fall in love with me,
Who put the bomp in the bomp-a-bomp-a-bomp?
Who put the ram in the ram-a-lam-a-ding-dong?
Who put the bop in the bop sh-bop sh-bop?
Who put the dip in the dip da dip da dip?

kiwibank.....laugh or scream laugh or scream laugh or scream....aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh

What did the world do to deserve this?

Who put the ram in the ram-a-lam-a-ding-dong?
I once used the name ramalamadingdong as an email address for subcscribing to dubious sites who might be collecting adresses. At the time it seemed merely amusing and I couldn't think where I got the name from but now I realise I was being subliminally controlled by musical satans in brothel creepers and bad suits.....just by watching Top of the Pops every Thursday as a child my mind had been turned.

Youre a very stupid person, a very stupid person, Youre a conformist. (This is no way a flame, its the obvious truth)

Your remarks are disgusting, pathetic. Its too bad you cant see how angered I am that someone has the nerve to laugh at someone because they listen to a certain band.

Are you going to laugh at me because i listen to Eiffel 65? or how about ATB? Will you and your conformist (Communist) buddies get a kick out of that? What if i listened to the band in question as well?

Look, if you have commie comments like that, move to china, and stop posting here, that way you can even shoot people who choose to be different then you.

P.S, man, I dont watch porn, and i HATE the new "rap", but I have never once made fun of people, or told someone i make fun of so and so because they listen to/watch it. Its thier perrsonal musical taste, nothing wrong with that.

I googled these lyrics in every combination, edit, and misspelling I could think of and got nothing....but now I'm obsessed with it and I never even heard the song.....oh no whats happening to me....madness and persecution have made me what I am......er excuse me...

there, several deep breaths (shit, bastard, arse) later...I am going to find out what this song is...I will never be defeated and even when defeated (which never happens) I wouldn't admit defeat...so there's half a chance of finding out anyway

lol yeah it is funny really.............. I think they call it a cultural phenomenon....we are very familiar with US culture and life (or at least certain presentations of it) through constant exposure in every available media at almost all times...that isn't a complaint btw because if the movies, music, clothes, tv, language etc weren't good we wouldn't be interested..we like it! .and we'd have to learn to speak French or German properly (I don't think so!) but it definitely doesn't work to the same extent the other way. It seems USA is big and dynamic enough that you ]can culturally be self contained. I have a number of experiences on ZP of being totally misunderstood because despite using the same language a lot of the Americans here don't get the references or see the subtext/context or the humour which would be very obvious to a Brit or anyone from Oz or NZ...and of course why should they get it...it's in English but it is still very foreign. Some people do of course, which is a relief! ......and also there are a few people who are so dumb you wonder how they remember to breathe but you get them everywhere right? I have even had entire threads deleted because they didn't spot it wasn't serious...It is slightly worrying when you post a deeply sarcastic new thread and start getting earnest and concerned replies and then find the whole thing has mysteriously vanished.

Anyway I thoroughly enjoyed myself, it was fun.:cross

all i know is the very first part of the lyrics "you keep telling me i can fly but i cant find my wings nowhere"
I've used Copernic Agent to search with a range of methods and come up with...not very much. All I can say is copyright those lyrics now because the only place in the world they have been published, online at least, is in your post. Maybe if you can describe what type of music it was that might help. meanwhile here are the only 2 results that look possibly relevant:

Alice in Chains- Down in a Hole

Bury me softly in this womb
I give this part of me for you
Sand rains down and here I sit
Holding rare flowers in a tomb... in bloom
Down in a hole and I don't know if I can be saved
See my heart I decorate it like a grave
You don't understand who they thought I was supposed to be
Look at me now a man who won't let himself be
Down in a hole, feeling so small
Down in a hole, losin' my soul
I'd like to fly,
But my wings have been so denied
Down in a hole and they've put all the stones in their place
I've eaten the sun so my tongue has been burned of the taste
I have been guilty of kicking myself in the teeth
I will speak no more of my feelings beneath
Down in a hole, feeling so small
Down in a hole, losin' my soul
I'd like to fly,
But my wings have been so denied
Bury me softly in this womb (Oh I want to be inside of you)
I give this part of me for you (Oh I want to be inside of you)
Sand rains down and here I sit (Oh I want to be inside of you)
Holding rare flowers in a tomb... in bloom (Oh I want to be inside)
Down in a hole, feelin' so small
Down in a hole, losin' my soul
Down in a hole, feelin' so small
Down in a hole, out of control
I'd like to fly,
But my wings have been so denied

And: At Vance

Wings To Fly

Tears on your lips
As you're lying here in my arms
All is gone far away
And there won't be another day

You have made my life worthwhile
But you took me thru this endless trial
Girl, you have tought me how to see
But i've always throught there's only you and me

I thought you gave me
Your all and all
Cause you where the reason
That made my cry and fall

You gave me wings to fly
Now it's to late to say good bye
And i'll raise my hands
Begging that you will let this end

Why did you hurt me
Why did you throw away our love
Couldn't you stand me
Didn't give you more than enough
Couldn't you find the words
To tell me what was wrong
Now this is the price you pay
That you're nothing more than a shade

I thought you gave me
You're heart and soul
No one can save you now
And there goes out my call

You gave me wings to fly...

They will jump on your head because they erroneously think that someone's feelings may be hurt, meanwhile all the fun gets lost in translation.

They're the same ppl who are jumping out of windows because a middle-aged black woman showed her right breast.

Meanwhile the rich Americans are paying less and less for the services that all citizens enjoy, and Bush is sending kids off to fight in a desert in a desparate bid to restore his father's fallen honor.

:upside yeah i just woke up (it's nearly 5pm I'm ashamed to say)and thought the same but I spent quite some time last night/this morning listening to a lot of very bad mp3s called carry me and I still didn't find the right one.....I checked in to see if anyone did and I'm still getting flamed by Ronald Macdonald! I'm almost starting to respect him for his manic perserverance and utter disdain for reality.

I've now searched for Max Miller Carry Me but like tk says it isn't the right artist. All I really found out is that Carry Me is a fairly popular lyric and songtitle, particularly in christian music and with people who make bad music available for free download as mp3.

@tk audio : You got the song on the computers. Just copy it. Have a deeper look at the station logs and maybe you'll find the right title/artist. See if they'll play it on air and ask the listeners to phone in and name the song
