I burned a bootable CD using a floppy image (drdos.img), and burned the BIOS files using Nero 6, with the floppy emulation enabled.

when it boots into DOS, and I type DIR to list the files on the CD, I'm only seeing the DOS files, not the BIOS files.

The reason I am doing this is because my floppy drive took a crap, and the earliest I can get a new one is Monday (since I live in a small ass town, and the only PC shop is closed on the weekend.)

The question I have is, where are the BIOS files on the CD? Am I missing something?

Thanks.

I'm using XP, by the way.

Did you burn that BIOS img in Nero in XP? YES you did, in NTFS

Silly Wabbit, DOS cant see or read NTFS

Btw . . . WHICH MB do you have? Is it by chance an ASUS?

See...I was reading so many damn tutorials on this subject, and the answer was right in my face...Oh well.

I have a 2nd HDD that I'll make a small FAT32 partition on.

As far as my motherboard, it's an FIC. I looked all over for BIOS I could update in Windows, but without any luck.

Thanks for the help...I will go hang my head in shame now.
