SEATTLE — Microsoft Corp. released three critical patches Tuesday to fix Windows security flaws that could allow an attacker to take over another person's computer.
A fourth patch, which the company called "important," fixes a similar vulnerability in versions of the Windows operating system, which runs more than 90 per cent of the world's computers.
The patches, released as part of Microsoft's regular monthly update, apply to Windows editions dating back to Windows 98, and also affect server systems going back to Windows NT Server 4.0

yeah but one of them is just a font change cos some funny guy at ms thought it was funny to make a font with a star of david and a swastika in so MS actually made the correction a critical update. Like your system could get unstable or hacked cos you wrote a note and put a star on it or even you are a nazi (or a hindu...its a hindu symbol originally right?)and can't help pressing the swastika button cos you're so dumb. how the f*** thats critical I don't know but there it is...red alert, scare the XP noobs with another "flaw".

Seems as though those words are a bit overused. Not necessarily in that article, but in general... every windows update.... every time.... those words.... critical..... attacker...... take over..... bah.

Thats very true Potato, but i have to take them seriously ever sense the problem with the blaster worm. Believe it or not we still see posts on different sites asking how to remove it, so i just hope that these reminders help some folks. That said a lot of this can be put down to fear mongering.
