Can any of you recommend a good file sharing service for books? I'm just interested in books (the largest selection possible) and not music. I am always looking for hard to find books to read.
Thank you in advance for your replies.

DC ++
As far as books go, there is NOTHING that comes close to what you can find on DC. A distant second would be Suprnova.org with the use of Bittorrent.

Thank you for replying.
When you mention DC++, do you mean the regular DC++ hubs that we see when we download the software? Or are you referring to some other hubs ?
Thank you,

For once, i'd have to agree with Miniver.
The amount of e-books on the newsgroups is amazing.

:hole http://www.gutenberg.org/
http://www.archive.org/texts/collection.php?collection=millionbooks this site also has old video clips, amateur films, etc. a large archive.
and yes, alt.binaries.ebooks is incredible for, erm, newer and technical texts that arent necessarily in the public domain.
I forgot, also check out the live music archive at archive.org. gems all over that site.
