The only thing that sucks more than answering 1000 retarded newbie questions over and over and over, is the search function at ZP.
However, the search is getting better, here are a few results. Now go fix.

The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search : firewall

You could just compile a FAQ, of the questions in that forum, which well sticky and just point people to that.

or you can use *dec or cod*, *boot, *wall etc
or use alternate terms--sygate, port, forwarding (starred versions), router, instead of movie=divx etc.
not to mention misspelling things--almost always gets results
there used to be instructions in the search function
there is no guarantee that the posts with helpful information weren't deleted, since nobody was helpful for a long time

Youre all missing the point. If the newbies had enough sense to be savvy about how they search, we wouldnt be having this conversation.
Do searches on words pretaining to problems that people have, and see what resuts you get. Getting back "firewall is to long" is a bullshit repsonse. The only way to tell if the search engine is working properly is to TEST IT.
Now go test.

Krell, i do see your point and i will work on getting that working. I am not sure why searching for those key words wouldn't produce results. Let me look into it.
thanks,

Krell, i performed some of the these searches and came up with results. The links didn't work, but when i did the searches myself i had results.

yup that thars what im talkin about.
I think we should throw more words in to the searches to see if this is effective before telling newbies to go search.
It may be advantageous to post screen shots instead of links, thx.
