What site is the best replacement for Sharereactor?

Shareconnector.com

Sharelive

Shareprovider.com

Others?

I think we should all try to find the best one and get behind it; otherwise, things will get messy. Shareprovider looks nice, but the constant pop-ups are driving me mad. Shareconnector looks like it could have potential.

ShareLive v2.0 will rule. Everybody should wait for that before judging it.

And it also costs money, I believe. Just a heads up.

Meh. SL has disappointed too many people if you ask me.

ShareConnector does appear to be a good competitor for the crown at the moment..hope they can handle all that extra traffic now.

Share live was nice for awhile but I'm not going to pay. I'll put my money on Shareconnector for right now. You could also use filedonkey.com which is nothing more then a search engine for the network. Works much better then searching through the client itself.

SL only needs registration for content older than 6 weeks, so as long as you log in once every 6 weeks then you miss no content.

..but the problem is - at least for me - that there's not much interesting content in SL at the moment...other boards seem to cater much better for my needs.

The Problem with ShareConnector, is that they don't update that offten, but its really great how on search results if you hover your mouse over an item a overlay pops up with a picture and more info.

Sharelive is located in the U.S., Which won't help matters if you have an account and they get busted(If you live in the U.S., as many file sharers do).

A great ed2k site is www.ed2k-it.com (http://www.ed2k-it.com)

They have a great community over there and it's growing larger everyday. I'm a mod over there and they are also the ones that are generously hosting my site (which has over a gig on it) at piranetus.com We're also currently devising a way to implement all of SR's releases onto that site, so soon it will have ALOT more verifieds.

www.ac3-guru.com is also a quality edonkey link site. They have loads of rarer stuff like the superman box set etc:)

I run a website with over 20000 links and only one toplist popup, otherwise no popups. Please check it out.

I'd go with ed2k-it (http://www.ed2k-it.com/forum/portal.php) .

It has a nice look and a lot of files. It also has a lot of nice pics like ShareReactor did so you have to wonder about the bandwidth if it gets very popular. But the standard of releasing can be quite poor, no way of knowing if something is verified and sometimes no info at all, just a link.

ShareConnector is also good for applications and I like the pop up info.

IMO the only place where quality rules is fileheaven.org but it is almost always closed to new registrations . It wouldn't be able to handle the huge numbers from the Sharereactor fallout and also there are the usual concerns about who might be sniffing around. It is the ultimate ed2k movie site.

For complete CDs Musicdonkey.org is very good.

@PiRaNeTuS: the DVD-R is in the general movie section at ed2k-it .... is there a reason for this?

www.fileflux.com

You're in at number 3 emulejunkies. That is pretty high considering the range you have. Sites with software and games are below.

Number 1 is goldesel. But that is all in German and has porn pop-ups. Second is ed2k-it.

Fileheaven.org. Cool SIte, not accepting new users at present though.
