if you are connected to the ed2k network, then no. there is absolutely no way to stop it.

yea you can stop partial sharing in shareaza, You just have to make sure your not connecting to the edonkey network or download any files from edonkey all you got to do is go to uploads in settings
take of share new partial downloads and share preview files
also note if you are downloading from a torrent like the ones that use to be on shareactor, you will still do partial sharing no matter what your settings are

Why would you want to do this though? It's just like normal sharing of files, just that the files you are sharing may be in higher demand than otherwise, what's the problem?

Why not share? Those networks aren't particularly targeted, at this point.

I wouldn't be so sure about what you just mentioned.
I am sure RIAA/MPAA etc are not that stupid to ignore ed2k network. If they didn't know about the network they wouldn't have closed sharereactor.

Bah! Sharing is my friend and enemy.
I don't mind sharing at all but on two systems and only connection I have is 1.5mb dl and 799upl I'm asking for trouble if I use to much Bandwidth. I have over 110g in Anima I need to share out. I don't like Emule or Overnet that EDonkey uses. I've recieved to many hacks from this to like the idea of people clogging my bandwith. My only problem isn't RIAA it's other user's dipping into my pot more then they give. Emule avg download 12kps or Edunky 10kps avg upload 50kps by my settings because Svchost program was running upload of about 200kps upload. With Overnet I was still sending out Packets even when I wasn't connected. With Emule mainly just happen when connected.
A strong firewall and proper Router settings helped a bit in the protection. I'm just praying that this program is legit.
Short point will this program including my router and fire wall be enough to stop people from clogging my connection.

you can however set your outbound bandwidth at a 40 b/s max it seems to slow down that bandwidth use..
