I have downloaded a album thats of legal nature.. one of those funky remix bands.. Well i play the mp3 after i extract the .rar file.. It seems like their is bits of data missing or the file song kinda skips or stops, or goes low and back to normal.. Like hiccups .. Is anyone else experiencing it?? And if so could you list any positives.. like if its the encoding or if it doesnt do that in wav format or anything.

I have downloaded many albums in rar format and they all worked perfectly. I would say first try to play them in another player. I remember that when I used wmp 6.4 on mp3pro files, reg mp3s at 160kbps+,vbr mp3s, and just certain mp3s that they had a weird "chirp" sound in the background. But when I played them in real or quicktime or wmp9 they sounded perfect.

You could try to convert one to wav and see if it still happens.

you can use foobar2000 to play .rar-ed files (I read this, but have not tried this) without un-raring them. Try this out sir.

foobar2000.com

Anyways, it is ten times any other media player... just listen after it is configured properly (yes, I know this takes some doing, but what is good that is easy?)... it REALLY whips the llama's ass.

ill try foobar.. Im using WINAMP.. And it plays all my other files.. It just when i played the files in .rar format i thought maybe when it compressed it, it got rid of a little piece or chunk of data.
