File Sharing on IRC

I'm have been using WINMX and Kazaa to share and get my audio and video files from other users. One of my friends told me that I can get even more updated files and goodies from IRC. Last night, I downloaded mIRC client for Windows and installed it.

The problem now is, where do I go to find these files? Is there a particular server I have to connect to? How do I transfer files in IRC?

If anyone has experience in using IRC to share files, please let me know how it's done. Thanks.

yes on irc there is way more movie files, and lot more full albums before their released, but you have to know the commands and triggers, could take about half hour for someone to teach you, sounds dumb but once I learned I'm glad I did, theres lots more movies!.. but for audio files I just use Blubster, but if I'm looking for a full albums that I know are full I use mIRC.

Have fun, I hope you can get it to work, pretty cool program once you get all the commands and triggers down!
