From what I have seen, bittorrent. And I of course assume you are only downloading music that is freely available?

Well, I like the new 3.4 version. It works better for me than the 3.3 version did, it caused issues with internet access and it tended to clog my system up when downloading many files.

The link is here on zeropaid. Its where I got it.

NEVER download bittorrent from the popups on suprnova.org! That download is said to have tons of spyware installed in it.

I find lots of albums using Tit Borrent, er I mean, Bit Torrent.

I use soulseek. You can check the bitrate before you download it, make sure all the songs are there, etc. It may not be quite as fast as BT or IRC, but with those two, you are not assured of the quality as much as you are with SLSK.

just my 2 cents.

Soulseek is great for rare stuff. I use Emule mainly for albums, especially older stuff. For newer you can't beat IRC or Newsgroups. Unless you find a direct download from FTP or HTTP of course. The forums on http://www.andr.net are a good place to find newer stuff on direct links.

I think that BT and ed2k are unparalleled.

You can find the best selection of albums on http://www.supermusic.nu so far. Between that and allofmp3.com (which costs $0.01/MB download), you can find pretty much all the albums.

I prefer "Direct Connect" Do a search for the band you want and search for "Directories" and many users (if you're in a good hub) will have directories for albums a band has done. Bit torrent would be better most likely, but less selection.

I have found emule to be consistently reliable for album downloads. Before emule = 10gb of music. After = 46gb! Just search under "archive" file types and get the zip/rar file.

I use TorrenTopia.

It's a fast way to get what you want....full records, and full DVD quality movies!

The absolute best source for full albums that I have been able to find isn't the traditional/mainstream "P2P" network, it's the Newsgroups, which have many many many releases daily, in all sorts of formats ranging from high quality MP3s to Lossless formats like APE, FLAC, SHN, etc. Try looking for info regarding releases at http://www.newzbin.com.

The next best source I can think of would be a toss up between IRC and Direct Connect (preferrably a private hub, if you have "connections"). Bittorrent is good, if you can find the torrent you want, and are willling to accept the risk of exposed, public P2P. Try http://www.bitoogle.com to search for torrents.

These are all just my personal opinions.

BitTorrent not only has full albums, there are torrents for entire discographies. Man, it's the lazy man's way to collect music!

I would have to recommend eDonkey in place of eMule. The speed with the new Overnet/eDonkey protocol hybrid tends to awe. Good luck with the albums...but, yet again this is an OLD thread bumped by the same...Modestas.

Destiny's Child has confirmed the track list for its highly anticipated new album, "Destiny Fulfilled." Due Nov. 16 via Columbia, the 11-track set has gotten a huge early boost from the single "Lose My Breath," which has climbed to No. 4 in just five weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. A 12-inch vinyl single for the track will be released Nov. 2.

Other tracks set for inclusion on "Destiny Fulfilled" are "Soldier" featuring T.I. and Lil' Wayne, "Is She the Reason" and "Through With Love." Production was supplied by Rodney Jerkins, Rockwilder, Mario Winans and Rich Harrison, among others.

Dont post links to files.

Funny comment that is! Btw, no version of bittorrent is specifically designed for specific albums. You need a good site for the torrents and that's about it. I use bitspirit but u should remain open to suggestions.
