Hi. I'm new to this forum, and new to burning DVD's. I've never created a DVD.

Here's what I've got:

1. Laptop with CD/DVD player.

2. Audio system with DVD player.

3. Panasonic E80 DVD burner with harddrive (on order, waiting).

4. TiVo (I know this doesn't have anything to do with my question, but that's the reason I bought the DVD burner.......so that I could copy stuff from TiVo.

Questions:

1. Do I need to buy any more equipment to be able to copy a DVD? (I've downloaded some software, but I've no idea what to do with it.)

2. Exactly how do I go about copying a DVD?

Thanks for any help you can give.

The easiest thing to do is to connect an S-Video cable from the video-out of the TiVo to the video-in of the Panasonic DVD Burner. Then connect some RCA cables from the audio-out on the TiVo to the audio-in of the Panasonic.
