None like it nope! Just kidding, I would not know because I use Winmx full time these days. I have to go offline every few days and burn about 10 gigs to download some more. lol
If there is something like it I would also like to try it too. i really like the huge Japanese user base though as Im really getting into their movies.

Haha, its funny, because the majority of people that say that WinMX sucks find it too difficult to use/couldn't figure it out. Its not meant for the basic user, thats why it has such a HUGE catalog. You won't find another p2p app like it. My only complaint is the wave of non-sharing Kazaa users flooding the network. The RIAA has for the most part left WinMX alone (hence the wave of Kazaa users), but I'm sure that will be changing in the near future.

I like the program and used it for years when it first came out, BUT the waiting in que sucks. I have good music on my computer but sitting there waiting got to be a pain. So I went and have been trying other programs. WinMX is suppossed to have a new version out someday but when who knows. I like to download ind. songs and albums

i would have to say e-mule or edonkey would be the closest (but is currently being flooded with RIAA's looking for a cause!). reason for saying this is its complexity setting upload download speeds and using sharereactor to be able to search for stuff. also the ability to set proxie and firewall information. ect so on.

But the question is. If you like the p2p program you are using now, why change? (this excludes lamer kazaa users (due to the fact that some of them may want something more secure and more adaptable. or something without all the spy ware they use to gather info for plea bargain's with the RIAA and other agency's))

That's the biggest load of shit I ever heard. WinMX is one of the EASIEST P2Ps to use. pwned! OOH! something like MLDonkey or...something else...is too difficult for most to try so...fuck off

eMule r0x0rz!

and no... I don't like WinMX...and I'll bet, most days, I kno more about P2P and have been P2Ping longer than you

And you won't find the RIAA on anything BUT KaZaA...and the influx of KaZaA users to WinMX AND the NEVERENDING version number should be definite reasons to steer clear of it

look at it this way....winmx hasn't really been investigated, hasn't really been messed with. True, the waiting in queue sux, but it offer the best availible as far as I am concerned.

No doubt.

I've deleted one post of your tonight Rebirth (race related humor). I noticed in another thread you were talking down to some guy for no reason.

Please try to a little more civil please.

(And while you are at it, hunt down the forum rules in the ZP announcement forum. Read the information following the very last rule, you'll see what I mean.)

The question was regarding an app similar to WinMx, not a damn thesis about you're favorite file sharing programs. The answer is Audiognome - I haven't used it in a couple of years but it used to connect to tons of the opennap servers, I doubt that the R.oyal I.diots A.gainst A.udio are intelligent enough to figure it out. Have fun!! Ah well, back to usenet.

Lol, Rebirth's post made me laugh more than anything. No one will ever take him seriously if he acts like a 12 year old.

I use WinMX & Sharezza. While WinMx is not your noive computer user,
It's still quite a good program, although the ques for files can be a pain. I suggest sticking with it.

Modestas: We are talking about a similar program like WinMX, we do not discuss about WinMX here and we don't need your opinion about it.
