Everytime i reboot my computer there is a message i get and I dont know how to fix the problem....Probably i deleted one of the files using the Ad-Aware software....the message read thus:

Windows cannot find C:\WINDOWS\system32\system32.exe
Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.
To search a file, click start button , and click Search...

I have tried to search but the search just ends with nothing to display...I would be grateful if someone can just help me because i think this is really making my computer slow....

Thanks in Advance

Are you certain that you are really virus free? go here and select your country, and let it scan:

http://housecall.antivirus.com/housecall/start_corp.asp

Try looking here, and also make sure that your registry does NOT contain system32\system32.exe

Click start>run> and type "regedit"

Browse for
HKey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windowsNT\cu rrentVersion\WinLogon.

On the right hand side you will find a value for SHELL "Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\System32.exe".
double click on it
delete "C:\WINDOWS\System32\System32.exe" so as to leave just "Explorer.exe."
restart and if needed..
Then boot to the safemode and delete the file "C:\WINDOWS\System32\System32.exe".

The system32.exe file is not a windows related file, you dont need it.

In the Registry Editor, on the root "My Computer" do CTRL + F and type system32.exe. Make sure there are checkmarks to Keys, Values, Data. Each time you see system32.exe mentioned, delete it.

AND . . this is also very successful, try HijackThis <---- :gj

http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

its easy to use.

cheers.

Damn, I'm too late. But, another happy customer. Jorge should put the compliments in their own section and make us look good. :)
