I just moved into my very own college dorm. But it seems the internet provider does not allow there users to download music. What in the hell do i do? I've downloaded almost every file sharing program I can think of but none of them work. Somebody please help.

Well now's the time when you usually start cryin. There isnt much you can do, beyond getting a different isp. dialup maybe your only choice

Are you using the schools server? Say via ether net? They WILL stop you from all manner of downloads? Have you tryed Bearshare and who is this annoying ISP?

Yeah it is ethernet and i have tried bearshare...i think the isp is Paetec or something like that.

there's not much you can really do living in a college dorm and downloading because dating back from Napster Days most colleges have banned P2P appilcations as they eat up bandwidth. I'd say prolly IRC is your best bet along with IM services to get around that. Might Take sometime to feel your way around but better than nothing :fire
