Not to be paranoid or to assume anything. But when im downloading a file thats 118.62.. it will stop at 118.33 or sometimes higher, and then it will stop and go back to 118.12 megs.. for some reason i get these users that says unintrested, chocked, requesting, and downloads start, stop and the parts that im downloading go away.. it will say 118.54 and then it goes back down again and transfer stops. Im wondering if its the new audiomagic thats doing this or even someone else experiencing it? also i look at the uploads and it will say that about other users whos uploading the partial.

If a file chunk is found to be corrupt then a download can 'go backwards'.

The way Shareaza swarms from multiple networks means this can happen repeatedly. I'm sure new releases will have better logic (or a refined interface) to minimize the effect.


IMO this is a natural possible side effect of swarming from multiple nets and nothing to do with the RIAA :).

If you have paranoya, use the built-in security manager accessable over F7.

INSTALLING WITH XML:

Unpack zip some where like C:\temp\

Open Shareaza and go to the Security Window (press F7). Right click Your Mouse somewhere in the window and choose import select the file Shareaza_Security_Update.xml and click open. If you what To Block All types Porn Content Do The Same But Select Shareaza Porn Content Filter V1.1.xml and click open. Now when you have done that you have installed this update.
