I have two suggestions for two different types of people, not sure which u are....

There is Pegasus Mail, a client that has been around for years and has a solid reputation. The newest version is 4.02, is a totally revamped client far BEYOND the standards of OE, and has been recently awarded "best email package" by PCWorld. Its totally free, millions use it, and the upcoming 4.1 version is supposebly even more feature rich than Eudora, without having useless crap. Downside, kinda dull interface. Get it at http://www.pmail.com

Next there is Pocomail, the client i personally use. Its VERY much as feature rich as Eudora and Outlook, and goes even farther with skin support, the "Clean" and " Pocozilla" skins look very nice. I can tell u now that this client is speedy, and very stable with its 2.61 release. Hasn't been around as far as Pegasus, but is much cooler looking which was the deciding factor for me since both clients have pretty much almost the same features. By the way, its won TONS of awards as well. Downside, it costs $29.99 or something, but its nothing a lil circumvention can't fix. :;) Get it at http://www.pocomail.com

Tell me what u think, glad to be of assistance.

also The Bat is very good as well as Foxmail....

Foxmail has a feature to check hotmail as well. I haven't used pocomails feature for hotmail, so can't help. In fact I never saw that feature, what version are you using? I have version 2.6 and do not see hotmail feature.
I like The Bat better or Foxmail better , both are very quick and easy to use.

u can integrate only outlook express with ur hotmail. no other client will do that. (both are MS products thats why)

foxmail will integrate with hotmail also.
check it out at nonags.com , it is freeware also.

I just noted your other post wesr.
do you have a firewall installed? you may need to allow foxmail through your firewall.

or send a note to foxmail, the guy who wrote it has actually answer me a few times.

It is a surprisingly cool freeware app. I think....

I don't think pocomail can access hotmail. I know hotmail used to work with foxmail, but probably hotmail changed something and the developer of foxmail will need to update his app. soon.

I recommend going with another email account also.
try http://fastmail.fm ...it is very cool and you can access it either by web or through pocomail...
you do know however that pocomail is shareware and will stop being functional in 90 days.

maybe you can find a serial number for it though...

I did :-)

some details:
fastmail uses imap not pop, so only certain email clients work with it. pocomail should work as well as another I also like called Calypso. Calypso is freeware now, used to be shareware.

well, i like both foxmail and pocomail, so if there is a way to access hotmail with either one, i will be satisfied. But i need a client that can get both hotmail and a POP3 account

well foxmail did work with hotmail before. I have not use hotmail anymore though so I am not sure if it is still working with hotmail.
only thing I can say is write the guy who made foxmail and see if you need a update or something.

check out eprompter, it is a cool little email checker that will check your hotmail and even pop accounts, and also you can reply from it without opening another email client. I think you will like it.

It does work with hotmail. I just tested it to be sure it works.

all I can say is it's hard to have everything you want.

but you now have some cool email apps to use.

seriously though, why don't you just use pocomail and fastmail.

Dude, only Outlook can access your Hotmail account, its simple as that....

If you really need that Hotmail account just get Outlook again, but hey, your choice.
