as long as the program works (and edonkey does), the user interface plays second fiddle. it's simple and easy to use, what else do you want? you can have a pretty interface all you want (aqualime comes to mind) but if the program doesn't do it's...raison d'être (2 years of french, s'right) then it's just eye candy.

looks are only a minor consideration if the program works for what it it is supposed to do-get files. I don't stare at it for hours I let it work in the backround. I have been using overnet for a while now . use it!

Listen..first thing is I am no kid for one thing...and I don't remember the server list I got, because I spend about 30 mins in it and didn't like. And third I like WinMX and OpenNap better because it is easier to configure. So don't slam someone for having an opinion, but if you can't listen and respect someone opinion no matter if you agree or disagree you have no right to call people names or tell them off.

I don't download movies from the P2P community, some of what I download is software and music. Because I like the DVD format with all the special features and clear quality. But hey do what you want, because eDonkey2000 will never be any better than WinMX/OpenNap networks and there is nothing anyone can say that will me make think other wise. I listened and understand what you are saying, I respect everyone opinions about eDonkey2000. But some of you are just rude and all you can do is bash someone for his/her thought and opinions. Because the real people you could be bashing is the RIAA....

I think eDonkey has one of the best networks around. The content is great, it's only a little slow. The GUI doesn't matter to me.

WinMX has the most MP3s, even at high bitrates....if you want low bitrates, use shitty kazaalite. SoulSeek's your choice for electronic music.

For EVERYTHING else, nothing compares to good ol' eDonkey with Sharereactor and Filenexus.

Quite frankly, anyone who disagrees is retarded.

i use overnet which is 10x better the edonkey but is filenexus down uz i cant do anything on there
