Hey guys

Sorry if this is off the topic but my question has to do with encryption software. I was wondering if anyone knows of a program that you can communicate through pictures or have an encrypted conversation. I am on a network and I just want to ahve some sort of security when I talk to friends because I talk about stuff that I dont want people to find

Unless your speaking about matters of national security I don't think you have much of a chance of your conversations intercepted. I mean who the hell cares that you and your little bf are exchanging nude photos.

I don't care, thats for damn sure.

Ok that was not needed thank you very much. I just asked a question amd was wondering if anyone knew of a program, if you dont know then dont reply and keep your fantasies to yourself. If there is a sensible person that knows of something I would appreciate. Negative replies like this genius here is not needed

ahem...back to your question I don't know where to find your program, but I know what you want and I've heard about it. (The movie Along Came a Spider).

Good luck on finding it!

Trillian supports "encrypted instant messaging to ICQ and AIM."

The process is called steganography.

There's a program called Camera/Shy that does it.

You can get it at http://www.hacktivismo.com/projects/

if you sport aim, go to www.aimencrypt.com or something like that ::google me::, make sure your running latest version, and make sure your buddy has the above goods, when you follow directions, all your convos will be encrypted ::with anyone else with security:: AND you get to sport a cute little lock next to your name.

This was just reviewed in last month's Maximum PC - they gave it a 9 / 10 and a kick ass award. I haven't tried it out yet, but it allows you to encript any file in anything, such as an image in an mp3, all with a few easy steps. Here's what Maximum PC had to say:

Pros: Steganos bundles a lot of security and encryption features into a single, easy-to-use package.
Cons: Safe doesn't close automatically, and files copied to Safe must be deleted manually from their source.
