Does anyone know of a program of plug in to winamp that plays songs backwards

If you are running Windows, sound recorder will do it.
Otherwise, no, I don't know of a winamp add-on.

Why would you want to play them backwards?
Some rock beats when played backwards say 'devil" or other phrases.
You can use an editor like cool edit pro, load the track and find the correct setting for backwards.
Contrary to popular belief, there is no intentional use of backward messages on recorded music (records), unless you can cite a specific record, it is all unintentional.
Sometimes fun to listen to. Better yet, get a vcr with variable speed tracking, and you can hear words verrrrrry slowwwwwwly likkkke thhhhhhis.

yeah, it could be possible that the original lyric was "lived", and when you play it backwards it says "devil".

or just look for DSS DJ ,funny to play with!!!
I think the latest version is 5.1,you can play normal,reverse,speed up or speed down and alot of other features.....
I just have to find the key becaurse it stops every 30 min...(Damn...) :-D

Yup audacity is what i was gonna say. For a good one.. SoaD - Psycho backwards = "Rape us" said 3 times. first one around 1:30 after reversed
