I used to use Live365 alot, but it's been a while. I not down with alot of top 40 crap -- so Live365 was cool because it had alot of indie / experimental / underground stuff.

What's the best one nowadays, good music and won't bombard me with ads? I'm bored here at work.

Thanks
B

I have used Winamp Radio... I think it is streamcast... it is now built into WA5. It isn't too bad, there are some good radio stations.

If you look for radio stations online that match your likes, they usually have an option to listen live. Most schools have free radio stations that will play different than mainstream music too.

winamp tV is also sweet, they sport 29 FPS 1 megabit (175 kb) streams. If you get it, look for "Bjork Promo Stream," she is a very intresting artist.

Use your radio tuner in Windows Media Player and
search for internet radio or radio stations worldwide.

RADIO TUNER: (Advanced Search)
http://windowsmedia.com/radiotuner/findstations.asp?locale=409&advanced=1
Once you add them all, it will automatically save to the Media Library.

I use either Radio@Netscape (http://www.spinner.com/) formally Spinner.com but uses Spinner Networks technology
or StreamAudio (http://www.streamaudio.com/radiostations/default.asp)

Shoutcast (http://www.shoutcast.com/) is another good player.
Another one I think is Launchcast Radio (http://launch.yahoo.com/) now part of the yahoo music.
