now i know there has been alteast one thread about this already... but i would like to announce that i have recived my 13.86 from the price fixing settlement!
if i can get it, you can too. hopefully you signed up!

ok, i had to massivly cut alot of stuff out, scause it wasn't 800 by 600 pixels, so mind you, it is a lot bigger then this.

Mine has the EXACT same message except it is from Spitzer, the Attorney General in NY.

it is the class action law suit filed agains the RIAA for price fixing. about a year abo they had a article on it in the paper on how you could get in on the action. so i went to the site, filled out a form, and bata bing bada boom!

Mine got deposited in the bank today, and next week I'll be using it to make a payment on the girlfriend's Xmas present which I bought on credit :P Oh, and my letter was worded exactly the same also, except for the state and the AG's name.

Thats a great idea, its not usefull to me but if everyone donated their check, then the cash pile can be a powerful bomb to blow a hole in the **aa's war on us.

hey, 13 dollars is alot to win... if you think about it. When you enter in those drawings you get in the mail, where you are gaurented to win... you DO win believe it or not. They do send you money. i am not kidding. But, once they sent my dad a check for 13 cents. what a winner...
