Can anyone outline how i can broadcast my music on the internet via a internet radio station. I'm a little confused

You need to download the Shoutcast server and the Winamp Source plugin. You run the server (after configuring it) and connect to the server through the plug-in and start broadcasting music. More info at the shoutcast forums.

That's for NSV which is Video and a whole different thing.
