Hey guys

When I use p2p I get dial up connections and my downloads are extremly slow. I am on a T3 network, is anyone interested in sharing files by other sources. let me know

If you are asking people directly to share files with you, then I think the logical answer here is just to say no to you.

For all we know, you are a bot/worker for the RIAA/MPAA/FBI or other organization.

You usually shouldn't ask those questions until you get at least 30 posts. People won't trust you until you get your name around, and you show some knowledge.

Besides that, WELCOME TO ZEROPAID

Download speed is not dependent on just your connection speed. Its also dependent on how many source and much upload bandwidth the person sending you the file has, as well as if your firewalled, and the demand of the files your getting.

Plus if your ISP is limiting p2p traffic or anything like that could affect speeds as well.

Hey, welcome to ZP.
If you ever come back, tell use what network you are on and perhaps we can help with your speed.

Well, if you're looking for faster speeds, first, Sephiroth is right - it could be your ISP.

If you're on a college, office, or other network that you don't own, they might just be limiting p2p bandwidth. You might want to try some tunneling software, and route it through port 80 (in simple terms, change the path your computer uses for the p2p software to the path your computer uses to connect to web pages).

If it's not your ISP, you might just want to try another p2p network. Almost all networks today support downloading from multiple sources, but you might want to try a network with a large number of users. Many people on ZP might diss FastTrack (myself included somewhat), but no one can deny the number of users on it. In addition, I've found nice speeds in LimeWire. Also, check out BitTorrent - it's probably the fastest client for large files.

Finally, if you're looking to directly connect with people, try a Direct Connect or mIRC. I've personally never used it, but I know some people who use mIRC and love it.

Oh, and welcome to ZP :)
