Best program by far. We get on average 700 KBps transfers and manage to have 8 TB on the LAN.

Yea I tried ares, and I hated it. The downloads were good but it had spyware and when I disabled sharing people were still downloading from me, files that were not even in my share folder

First of all moron. I am on a college network, so I have rules to follow. Second I do my fare share of sharing, just by other means. Third I dont like my computer being slowed down by morons with dial up. Is that clear for you. You dont like it, well guess what I dont give a fuck

BTW... My two cents, I thought that Aaron13767 (whatever the numbers are) was the one that was being rude... flantenallo obviously was trying to disable sharing so that all of the files on her computer were not being shared. I think that the following remarks were just a silly escalation.

first of all hunter is a respected user of this board...and a mod i believe...his problem is with your tone... second, even if someone attacks you there are better ways to deal with them... I should hope that since you are in college you would know this... if everyone believed in eye for an eye we'd all be blind...lastly if you leech from any network and don't give back you are a leecher... Whether or not you distribute files through other means you are taking from that network without returning in kind... Good luck in college... I hope you learn something.

On my college network the only prog with any good dl speeds is soulseek...but since you said that doesn't work...I have tried lan2p...great speeds but a pain in the ass sometimes to recognize other computers on the network. Other than that nothing works at my uni...just good ol' AIM transfer if you wanna go ghetto style...good luck finding the right prog
