Hey guys I am new to this forum. I was wondering if anyone out there knows of any overnet cracks that get rid of the spyware and adware with it.

No crack needed.

Just use the program "AdSubtract" and it will block the ads that overnet displays. All you will have is a white empty box where the ads are supposed to be displayed.

FYI, cracks cannot be requested on this forum.

When installing Overnet just do a custom install and don't install any of the applications packaged along with the client.
As far as the ads go there is another way to get rid of them, you can register the client.
My opinion: It always seems like a shitty thing to do to try to crack high quality and totally free software. If people can't handle a small banner ad then use emule (and see your d/l speed strangulated :hi )

Banners may not be so bad for broadband users, but for dialup it eats away at their already minimal bandwidth. Even loading ads from the internet takes resources.

I would go as far to call overnet a "high quality" program.

"Medium quiality" at best, imo.

what about sharing? Is there a way to disable the partial sharing. I am on a college network so I dont use overnet that much but I was just wondering

PM me and we can discuss it. Now that gets into issues that cannot be discussed on the forum.

You don't need any fancy cracks or anything just add the following lines to your host file

reg.edonkey2000.com 127.0.0.1
reg.overnet.com 127.0.0.1

NO MORE ADS

That's the exact thing I do.. dont know if you should have said that.. then you have to do one more thing within the program and the ads and their bars are totally gone.. I'm not going to say it without permission though.

you're gay

That did not add to this thread at all.

Empty flames like that are really not necessary on this forum.
