Has anyone heard of a way to remotely control Kazaa from another computer. I know of a cell phone/pocket PC application that can do it but I have not yet heard about one that would work on a normal, let's say windows computer.

you could jet set up your pc to be remotely accesible. Check out this page http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/using/howto/gomobile/remotedesktop/default.asp

Actually if properly configured BO2k (Back orifice 2000) from http://www.bo2k.com/software/bo2k10.html can be a very powerful and secure remote administration tool (I am not joking about this) I am pretty sure it has options for secured passworded sessions as well as a nice plugin archatecture, plus since you can move the cursor directly there is no need for kazaa to have special hooks for remote access. but BE CAREFUL because if you don't set up BO2k right then anyone knowing where to look could take control of your machine

Thanks guys. BO2K seems to be a very good free solution. I just tried it and the interface seems to be very accessible. As to the most important part - security, it is more secure than the VNC -client http://www.realvnc.com I tried at first. Of course the only secure machine is the one with no network adapters but BO2K satisfies my requirements.

I also found this:

Not tested yet...might be promising.

Oh and the problem with VNC is that all data is unencrypted except for the first time you send the password and anyone with access to the registry can reset the password.
