Okay...my computer is wacked...so im not sure if its the computer or a program i downloaded, but i cannot get any of my P2P programs to work...ive tried almost every one on this site and none of them work. They dont connect. I have no wall or anything. I can access anything on the internet. It freezes when the program starts. This all started when i downloaded this program Spybot S&D. Its a program to get rid of spyware. However, it says on Shareaza that it doesnt contain spyware and it still doesnt work. Whats the dillio? DOES ANYONE KNOW!???
okay...if you would, please email me at [email protected] or just post a a message on the forum

We'll need you specs... if it freezes up this may be an indication of low RAM on your machine. I've never heard of any problems coming from Spybot besides some that stop working because Spybot took out thie required adware programs

Comcast has begun an attack on file-sharing. They're testing blocking ports for file-sharing applications in a few cities as well as usenet binaries corruption. This is a quiet test of a planned major assault in the future.

can i get some proof please thx

Let's see Comcast block all my ports. Sure, it's a fact that some ISPs monitor "common" ports in use for some P2P applicatons (such as eMule's 4662).

The good thing about a lot P2P applications is the fact that you can change the 'default' port #s you transmit TCP & UDP packets from.
