Did you not check out the above link? I'm not certain, but I do think it's what you're looking for. I haven't tried this tool myself, but I did watch the show last night. I think it can be used to remove the clock from the taskbar and you can put what you want in it's place. It's a taskbar tweaking tool. I may even check it out myself.
