Up above i want a windows explorer toolbar that has favorite links, so i click on it. And it goes directly to the web address, shows a picture of a webaddress page with a "E" for explorer and the site name.. Besides clicking on favorites, and scrolling through endless websights. Just a click above and it goes to the site. How would you be able to do that or which browser lets you? I can create shortcut webpages on my desktop, but once i open up my explorer, its pointless to keep opening up websights through desktop as well as processing and cluttering it up.

who ever deciphers what exactly shawners wants to do deserves a medal of some sort. i can't make heads or tails about what you want shawners.

it sounds like you want to put a link to a website (yes, its spelled 'site', not 'sight') on a bar in your browser. i dont know if you can do this in explorer, but i know you can in mozilla. if this is what you actually want, and you are willing to use mozilla (or firefox), all you need to do is bookmark the site and drag it into your 'bookmarks toolbar folder'

Heres a picture.. I Want to click on a websight, with out going to favorites and scrolling, or without double clicking a shortcut link on the desktop.. See where it has the little messenger, why not a tab that links to websight. I have mozilla firebird but havent seen or found any steps to make a websight as a button you push and label.

heres how you do it:

step one: go to bookmarks > manage bookmarks

step two: open 'bookmarks toolbar folder' in 'manage bookmarks. drag the bookmark you want to link into bookmarks toolbar folder

step three: marvel at your pretty link on the toolbar in your browser

that's beautiful wonderboy...you might want to follow his advice shawners..looks very easy to do...only 'downside' (which might actually become a plus for you) is that you'd have to install a new webbrowser that you aren't used to...but from what i've heard its a really nice one to use.

:D
