You might have a dead blue lazer, I assume you try DVD movies and it the right one for where you live. It could be the len is dirty.

I am in North america and I am playing the right DVDs for the region. I am just wondering how can it be a lens if it can read the audio CDs without problem.
Thanx for the help guys....I wish someone would know whats the problem.

Usually it's just one lens that focuses to either a CD wavelength or a DVD wavelength. A screwed up DVD drive might work perfect for CDs but have issues refocusing the laser for DVDs.
