Looking for a filesharing client that's easy to install on Linux

I'm looking for a filesharing client that's easy to install on Linux.

I know how to install from an rpm or from source, so by easy to install, I mean some client that doesn't hav e too many dependencies and some client that is not too buggy.

I was just looking at Appolon on Sourceforge, but with 12 missing dependencies, I'm not even going there.

PS: I don't know if that makes a difference, but I have a Red Hat 7.1, a DSL connection, and I use Bastille as a Firewall.

Post the error messages here and ill help you get arround by giving you the links you will need. Or if you feel like trying some unstableness for the good old Kazaa Lite. Known as the BEST file sharer and the Pride of Window$ go to www.geocities.com/tecker83.
I have apollon working but i had to trick it. Ill help you out.

a lot of them give binaries now - just untar and go...

MUTE is available but it might prove a tad unstable at present.

You could give aMule a try, it needs wxWindows library to compile, but it does give a not bad GUI and reasonably fair U/D ratios - if you don't mind being limited to ed2k (long wait before you can dl anything)

(I'd love to be able to reccommend mldonkey but i've a few issues with it at the moment)

Oh yeah, try the ed2k gui with either edonkey or overnet (better) core - unless you really don't like the colour green. This could well be the best linux p2p app - considering features versus ease of use - at the moment anyway.
