The rooster came first, then god made the chicken out of one of the rooster's ribs ;)

Dinosaurs had eggs and many scientists believe that chickens are descendents of dinos. The chicken and the chicken egg evolved together, so none of them came first.

You've just answered the question... Dinosaurs had eggs, so eggs came first and chickens evolved millions of years later. The question is just "chicken or egg?", not "chicken or chicken's egg?"

It very simple but I not sure the name of the animal name before chicken or rooster. But it goes back so fair that even they don't know what animal made the first egg, but I didn't look it up.

right the egg came first, fish are born from eggs, fish came before chickens no matter who's evolution/creation/aliens/generation scheme you use.

Sort of. The rooster came first. (As most males do.) Into the chicken, thus producing the egg.

I should clear this up.
I'm talking about what came first, the chicken itself or the chickens egg. Not Roosters, Fish or Dinosours. Because if the Chicken came first, where did it come from? If the egg came first, who laid it? A dinosaur wouldn't have eggs and then find a chicken in one. Also, if your talking rooster aspect of this who did the rooster mate with to make the egg? Or where did the chicken come from that mated with the rooster? 2 roosters can't mate and make a chicken.
Another clarification, a rooster is not the chicken. A rooster is the name of a male chicken, a chicken is the name for a female chicken.

You mean there is more to evolution than that?

No, MI, I'm sorry but it takes thousands apon thousands of years for a new species to arise via Evolution.

A rooster is the name of a male chicken, a chicken is the name for a female chicken.
Using that logic, thy are both chickens. Including the rooster.

Nasrules, it would take thousands of years for the dinosaurs to evolve into a chicken though! Evolution isn't something that occurs over the course of 1 night.

You are answering your own question Sk8er Boi! You can't ask which came first because there is no defining moment when there was one and not the other. The dinosaur egg evolved into a chicken egg, the dinosuar evolved into the chicken. How can you thereofre ask which came first?
nasrules

Exactly. Your latest post had no relevance, SB! You never said anything about the egg being a chicken egg.

Thats not what I'm saying Nasrules. I'm saying when does a dino egg become a chicken egg? The chicken egg only slowly became a chicken egg. The chicken only slowly became a chicken.

Dinosaurs had eggs and many scientists believe that chickens are descendents of dinos. The chicken and the chicken egg evolved together, so none of them came first.
The pre-chicken creates a mutated egg. The mutated egg becomes, "chicken"

Evolution isn't something that occurs over the course of 1 night.
Generally speaking, no. Biologically, it is hard to do, unless you contract some modified virus, that changes your dna within 24 hours, mutating it into something else.
Computers to evolve over one night is possible in software, provided the software upgrade mutates or increases functionality.

It would take several years, may be 100s of years, may be 1000 of years for the dna to change from early chicken to today chickens. I sure the first chicken didn't look like todays chicken. Over time the weaker chicken die out while the stronger chicken live on and that dna is past on to form today chicken. Is there something that give us today chicken that wasn't chicken, the answer is yes but I not sure the name of that bird but it like the ape to human.
