kazaa lite k++ video previews

everytime i try and preview a video i get an error report and my k lite closes down

you can see what microsoft suggest at

but main concept program just seems to convert partially downloaded (DAT files) into video

Any help on how I can preview the video while its downloading in the theater?

What version of klite are you using? Try the latest kazaa lite resurection (2.4.8) (www.????), or use VideoLAN (http://www.videolan.org/) to preview the files.

Fasttrack is just a name for the network that Kazaa connects to. Much like gnutella 1 is the network that Bearshare, Morpheus, Limewire, and others connect to.

OK, I've just made the effort to look at the M$ page. Have you got a codec pack installed? You can get codecs from http://doa2.host.sk/codecs/. Codecs tell your video playing software how to decode file types.

i've got k-lite version 2.4.3, i saw some posts that said version 2.6/resurection wasn't completely finished yet,

i've tried downloading the codecs, but they don't seem to make a difference, do i have to configure them specially or is it done automatically?

i'd use AVI Preview witch comes standard.

Naturally you have to install the codecs, but there is no configuration after that.
KLR version 2.4.8 is finished, but there will be updates in the future.
Have you tried playing the files in videoLAN? Have you tried opening the files in AVI Preview out side of kazaa?
