I've been considering running some linux p2p apps thru knoppix on my win computer and was wondering if anybody has done this? Or if there are any foreseeable problems with running a p2p app this way. If not, what app would you suggest?

This is the 'file sharing with linux' P2P applications. Go nuts. :fire

Yeah I was aware of the section but my main concern was with the fact that knoppix is a bootable linux and if there were any probs or specific p2p apps I should use with it. Thanx for the heads up tho. :bling

When testing Knoppix I had good luck with edonkey and xmule (now amule). Bttorrent and particularly FreeNet did not seem to work so well, but then they never do. This was a couple of months back and I only tested for a couple of days however.

Good luck!
