KCeasy is a windows filesharing application which uses giFT as backend.
Currently supported networks are OpenFT, Gnutella and FastTrack.
Version 0.9 released.
There have been serious bugs in 0.8 which led to crashes and corrupted downloads.
Everyone still running KCeasy 0.8 should update to 0.9 immediately.
There are also lots of other small bug fixes and UI improvements in this one.

Thats a really nice program. It returns a lot of search results, and the downloads move at a blazing speed. I really like the openFT network on it since it's only about 1000 people sharing over 200 000 files, with no fear of the RIAA or CRIA. The only bug I've found in it is that it doesn't seem to want to connect to Gnutella or FastTrack for some odd reason, maybe it's because it hasn't finished hasing my files, or who knows but thats the only downside I've seen to it.
Oh, and remember people, just like with any first time program, it'll eat up your resources while hashing, it's not a bug in the program.

I just gave it a try and it seems to run pretty well. alot of audio files. Typed in Video for one and only one video came up whereas on Kazaalite got more viddeo files for the same performer..

i can connect to all supportet networks ! the only bug i've found is that it doesn't save the hases, so it must scan my shared files everytime i start that programm :-/ i hope the developer will add g2 support in future versions

im not sure, but i dont think you can organise the searches by the sources, like in kazaa(lite).

I love kceasy. I can connect to all the networks except for fastrack. OpenFT alone which only has about 2000 users has files than gnutella which has about the 100,000 according to kceasy. Id like to connect to Fastrack too so I hope they sort that out.

Great program, just needs more options in specifying search results, such as bitrates, song title, artist, etc.

i wouldn't say the best, but its verrrrry good !! it need swarming downloads like shareaza, so u can download a single file from diferent networks, chatrooms like this one in ares or soulseek would be nice too ... sorry for my bad english =(

You might just need to wait a while for it to connect to every network. It just took it a few minutes to connect to Gnutella on mine.

Grr, I've been trying for the past 2 days to connect to FastTrack & Gnutella, but it won't let me!!!! It'll only connect to OpenFT. What are you guys doing to get it to connect to every network?

I needed to open some ports for gnutella and fastrack to work properly since I am on a router. I didn't know what to do so I emailed there email and they gave me this response and it works fine now. So if your on a router you should do this:
Forward the following ports:
FastTrack:
TCP/UDP 1214
set "forwarding = 1" in giFT/conf/FastTrack/FastTrack.conf
OpenFT:
TCP 1215, 1216
Gnutella:
TCP 6346
uncomment the line "#port = 6346" in giFT/conf/Gnutella/Gnutella.conf

Its Speed in searching through 3 networks with instant results and fast download speeds makes this an Alternative to Not only Kazaalite but also Morpheus according to the maker of this program it will next support gnutella 2 and edonkey which threatens Shareaza.(well kinda) Stay tuned to kceasy.com for more information in the coming months.
