i have a problem with my internet explorer, my file, view, favourite options are gone
does anyone know how to bring them back?
i have already tried to move the dotted lines but they are not helping, any1 have any ideas

yawn...well if you use IE6 ..strange things will keep happening....but to answer your question...depending on your operating system ..you can run Internet Explorer Repair (under accessories/system tools)
...or better yet download a new IE6 from M$ ...and do a clean de-install...re-install.
That should do the trick...without obsessing hours over what went wrong.

Right-click your IE toolbar, select "Customize". The rest should be self-explaining.

have you tried mandrake yet?? Or linux? I heard they do wonders for your internet explorer problem.

Do what collideous said. But also, you really might want to try a faster browser with more features that actually displays webpages as they were intended.

I don't think right-clicking and choosing customize will let him bring back the MENU options, only the toolbar buttons, etc. I guess I don't really know what to tell ya. Download the latest Windows Updates or try a fresh install of IE6 from MS.
Otherwise, there are several alternative browsing tools. Opera, Mozilla, the lightweight Firebird.
