did CORRUPTBUSTER delete his post and hence the thread evaporated, or did a mod yank it for some reason?

It was posted in the wrong forum. The Annoucement forum is for forum/site annoucements. I think thats pretty self explainatory and anything that isnt is going to get deleted which will only effect the very few people* for some reason who dont get the purpose of it.

Thanks for clearing that up--I had no idea what forum it was in. I clicked onto it from the front page. I won't bother to ask why it was in the announcements forum, given the source.

It was also a topic we've discussed before, several times at great length if I'm not mistaken. But I never miss a chance to talk about catastrophic hard drive failure, lol.

They closed my thread as well.. I just gave a link to encrypt cd's with data files on it, and they yanked it too.. AND they have a link to get a linux Itunes ripper, or to break the DRM to run it on linux... These are forums to discuss in software and other devices. The reason i posted Tired of things you pirated being sold for lesser value was to get peoples attention to read it and see what they think of it.

I could. But I don't want to. I was just explaining to talkinghand why Seph probably deleted the thread rather than moved it. Its one of Seph's pet peeves when old topics get reposted on new threads, that's all.

You could have once, but you did a bad job and were booted. So I guess you'll just have to continue to spam your site and take occasional scartastic cheap shots towards me then.

Im not going to continue to move threads for the people who over and over cant read forum titles. And ill probably just let the thread in this one sit in delete status for a day before moving it and undeleting it so that CORRUPTERBUSTER will know where to post any future PC related threads.
