Ok, this is my problem:
I connect to Soulseek[152], I can download some files, but sometimes it's downloading and the status change to Failed and manually I have to keep trying (sometimes works). And worse it happen ALL the time with the upload!
I think I have a decent connection, ADSL - 256 Kpbs, not running any firewall, no single antivirus running and still; so I don't know why this is happening almost all the time!
So anyone has a solution (if it is) or what do you think?

dude/dudess welcome to mono-source downloads! Don't like it? Use some multi-source clients other that Soulseek. This client is not for you. Sorry, but this is the answer

The MP2P network offers extremely fast multi-source downloads. Unfortunately the search horizon is less than stellar and it doesn't have near the selection of Soulseek. Personally I'd stick with Soulseek if you're looking for obscure material, and I'd use Clean Blubster if you need popular mp3s.

Yes....
I use slsk/soulseek for MP3s than any other app. If your uploads are failing, are you moving your shared folders around?
The server does go down from time to time, but I think it's worth it. The best thing to do is to check out some of the rooms and get to know people that are sharing. If you search their files and it says "No Files Shared" just read their info... chances are they will add you to their shared list if you PM them and ask, as long as you are sharing.... I'm running soulseek right now. I use the same name there as I do here... PM me and I'll be happy to add you after you read my info. :) Never have a problem with fake files either. Now... if your into the really popular music... Try Ares (or Piolet... but I've never tried it).
