hi everyone
i use XP Professional and I have installed East Asian Languages and Multiligual Packs and changed the locale and ticked all the boxes in Regional Settings to Japanese but for some reason Japanese filenames (of files from WinMX) with double-byte characters just show rubbish in Windows Explorer (and other word processors) and NJ star doesn't help. I've never had this problem with Windows 2000. I can't see the filenames of the files I moved to my XP PC from my Windows 2000 PC. But when I share these files with gibberish filenames, WinMX can recognise the filenames and display them properly in my WinMX window. Am i missing something?!
Please help! Thank you!
